MEETING TO ACKNOWLEDGE PUBLIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTIVES FROM MOI
High-ranking Phuket officials from government agencies and state enterprises as well as community leaders convened at a meeting on October 8 at Phuket Provincial Hall to study and acknowledge public development directives from the Ministry of Interior (MOI). The meeting was chaired by Phuket Governor Jamroen Tipayapongtada. Also present were V/Governors Prajiad Aksornthamkul, Kajornkiat rakpanitmanee and Chokdee Amornwat. Representing PPAO was Chief of Planning and Budget Satien Kaewprapap.
ACADEMIC SEMINAR ON DECENTRALIZATION TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS AS PART OF NATIONAL REFORM
An academic seminar on the subject of decentralization to local government organizations as part of national reform and annual ordinary meeting organized by Provincial Administration Organization Council of Thailand (PAOC) was held in Chiang Mai (at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre Commemorating His Majesty's 7th Cycle) on October 7 9. Ministry of the PM Office Panadda Disakul chaired the meeting and seminar attended by 2,800 officials and administrators who represented 76 provincial administrative offices nationwide. The seminar was headed by lecturers from the National Legislative Assembly, King Mongkut Institute, the National Reform Council and the Department of Local Administration Promotion.
PPAO TAKES PART IN RECORDING TRIBUTE SPEECH FOR THE QUEENS BIRTHDAY
PPAO officials led by Vice President Soratham Jinda gathered at the studio of Phuket channel 11 of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand to record a tribute speech for the Queen on the occasion of Her Majestys upcoming birthday on August 12.
RESURFACING ROAD NEAR TA RUEA SHRINE
A team from PPAO Engineering Division has been working for eight days to resurface part of a road (100 x 500 m) in the area near Ta Reua Shrine, in Sri Suntorn subdistrict, Amphoe Thaang. The said road is now ready for use.
