On August 14, 2019, at 9.00 a.m., Mrs. Aree Sansom - Deputy Chief Administrator of PPAO, presided over the opening ceremony of the potential development project of Phuket tourism personnel, the course the knowledge development and techniques of kitchen work management in tourism enterprises. In the event, Mr. Chumphol Hiran - President of Academic Department, Phuket Andaman Culinary Club (PACC) gave a brief project report at A2 Resort Phuket, Mueang District, Phuket Province.
This training budget was supported by PPAO and a part of PPAOs supported budget was the fee that received from the hotels guests. Thus, the fee was returned back to persons who paid to PPAO in the form of training.
Mrs. Aree Sansom said that the objects of this training are to improve the knowledge and to increase skills related to kitchen work and its sanitation in the tourism workplaces with the application in working, to add up the competencies and to raise the standard of personnel in the area of Phukets tourism business workplaces. This includes to build trust and confidence in tourists regarding service and foods quality, to prepare for being ASEAN Community membership and to be able to compete with other tourism competitors alongside generating incomes sustainably for Phuket.
