On 15 June 2019, at 9:00 am., Dr. Parinya Prayatsap, qualified secretary from the Sheikhul Islam Office, presided over the opening ceremony of the 24th Phuket Islamic Ethics Training Program 2019. PPAO collaborated with Islamic Ethics Promotion Association of Phuket and Phuket Islamic Committee, organized this program. On this occasion,
Dr. Kraiwut Khumban, Secretary of the PPAO Council, welcomed participants. Mr. Virach Patee, President of Phuket Islamic Ethics Promotion Association, gave a history report of program. Mr. Sanya Singsrida, Mrs. Noulchan Samart and Ms. Supreeya Eamwiwattanakool, PPAO Council Member, Mrs. Karnmanee Sillapa, Educational Advisor, Senior Professional Level, acting PPAO Director of the Department of Education, Religion and Culture, together with PPAO officials, training committee, religious leaders, leaders from organizations, head of the families, students, and the general public and honored guests, participated in the event at Phuket Merlin Hotel, Mueang District, Phuket.
Phuket Islamic ethics training program was organized with the aim to increase knowledge, education, economy and society for trainees, to enhance personality, morality and ethics, to have confidence in living correctly and happily, and to create love for harmony and good relationship for living in a multicultural society.
The training is conducted every Sunday at 08.30-12.00 hrs., between June 23, September 8, 2019, 3 months, at Muslim Wittaya Phuket School and the opening ceremony is on June 15, 2019, at Phuket Merlin Hotel.
Dr. Kraiwut Khumban said that the education was an important thing for developing people to be quality, including developing the nation to have prosperity and peace, especially to provide knowledge about moral and ethics that was a very important. Thus, PPAO has set the budget of the Department of Education, Religion and Culture for organizing the 24th Phuket Islamic Ethics Training Program 2019 at the amount of 600,000 Baht. It will be held during on June 23 September 8, 2019 (training 12 times) which will have at least 800 Muslim participants in the training and getting knowledge from qualified lecturers. The Islam teaches that "Education is a must for every men and women who are Islamic people." Therefore, all believers should bring the knowledge gained from the lecturers to practice in daily life and pass those on who did not attend the training.
